It happens everywhere you go in every country. If your moving to any country you should adopt their rules, beliefs, way of life, and how they are. If you don't agree with them keep quite about it or don't go there.

You can't get a country to adopt your own views, whether they are right or not. Its there way.

Yes it does exist even within ethnic neighbourhoods seemingly! Whats being done to combat it -well seems the cops are too scared to do anything. Reckon one side is worse then the other but hey dont say that..... may be labelled a racist....

On the radio last week there was poll which found 75% of all Australians are racially intollerant.

I suggest if your'e the sensitive type dont bother coming. I hear Iraq is looking for skilled workers.

I had to leave this thread alone for a while because I would have been shot down for giving my own opinion but hey ho this is my opinion.
If you feel you cant go to another country because of racial intolerance then there would be absolutely nowhere to go because its worldwide. I sometimes get p****d off because the whites get racially attacked and nothing gets said or done about it because for some reason or other its not seen as racial.
I dont think there will ever be equality in the world because each race wants to be the superior race at the end of the day and its been proven over and over again with wars and deaths. I will say I dont agree with it but its life and I've never enjoyed seeing bullying of any kind to anyone. I have been on the receiving end of the stick too. I also get annoyed the way us Brits poke our noses into other countries affairs even though we haven't experienced living there or only know one side of the story. We must remember there is good and bad in all races. Just my humble opinion

Think the answer to all this racial stuff is to ban religion all types and encourage mixed marriages between all races then there is no race.

Quite agree that every one can have a race problem though except the fairer skin as when it comes to us we seem to be non persons... was same as everyone can be proud of where they come from in Brit but oh! no you can't fly the Flag of St. George in case it upsets other races in Brit who are allowed to keep up all their nationalistic themes.

Animals are suspicious of different animals and will often attack them just because they are different. We are animals too so it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that we tend to distrust people who are not as we are.

Being "civilised" means that most of us keep the instinct out of our minds and don't have any trouble. But sometimes groups of non-idiginous folk strain this tolerance to the limit and aggression breaks out.

IMO what has happened is that we have had decades of politically motivated "tolerance" pushed down our throats so that even the least racialist amongst us are rebelling. It's a crying shame, but the writing has been on the wall for years.

And before you jump down my own throat I am just stating what I see as fact, not putting forward an opinion.

being "civilised" means that we understand that everyone is equal regardless of age, sex, colour, creed, sexuality, religion, musical taste and shoe size.

Whist different speices of animals will attack other speices, we humans are all of the same speices so anykind of inbred animal reactions we have do not account for any forms of racism. We're not fighting any kind of inbred susupicion surrounding people from different social groups from ourselves - Children do not seem to feel any aversion for people of another colour until it is taught to them.


have to say i STRONGLY disagree with the word tolerance. tolerate by definition means "put up with something or someone unpleaseant" (according to the very big dictionary in the Firestone Library at Princeton University - and i'm not about to argue with that!). We shouldn't tolerate people who are different from us, we should embrace them. the only thing we, very sadly, have to tolerate (and i wish we didn't) is bigotry in any and every form. it is not acceptable regardless of whom it's coming from.


also (just for the record) when one states ones beliefs of the facts.... one is infact stating opinion!
