I think we are from the same country, do I need to update my passport as well, Since the expiry of it is for 2015 but when I would apply for 887 it will have less than 2 years validation.???

As far as I know you can not change a passport when it is valid more than 6 months, plz check the embassy website then you can find it out.
Be optimistic! and Let’s Hope that it won’t take that much long, unless otherwise you can apply for a new passport yourself and then let the IMMI knows about it!

Been in 487 visa for 2 yrs
I have applied for my 886 Visa on the 26 FEB 2013

Documents submitted as follows :

1) Payslips from 2 employers - All Payslips for 12 months scanned into 1 PDF.

2) Offer Letters from Employers

3) ATO Returns , Medicare Levy and Vehicle Registration for Address Proof as i don't have a Rental Lease agreement .. I have always Shared with my friends.

4) APF Check and Indian police Check

5) Bank Statements for 2 years

6) Passport Copy

7) Birth Certificate

Hope i have submitted all the docs needed for a successful application

Have been waiting ages to get my PR

Hi,
If we submit colour scan copy of passport bio data. Do we need to certify it? Because according to the checklist we have to provide "Certified copy of passport bio data page for all applicants"

As of my knowledge you don't need to certify your Doc's if they are color copies

Dear dance123,

Request you to answer my below queries:

I have Visa class Skilled (Provisional) (class VF) subclass 475 (Skilled - Regional Sponsored). Sponsoring state is South Australia.
I am not able to find a job in Adelaide and willing to move to Victoria Regional - Geelong.

Is it possible for me to Change State?


Also, After Changing State , living & working for 2 years in Victoria Regional, I would apply for Permanent residency visa class: Skilled – Regional (Residence) visa (subclass 887).

Does states change have any impact on my permanent residency visa application.

Well.. I have been following couple of other Forums and people have applied for 887 in Dec 2012 and still waiting ...

I assume that 887 has been halted for a while .. .
