Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland
I'm the same - keep checking but not that much activity on this thread. There do seem to be quite a few of us that are in the limbo-land of being only a week or two into the process with London.

Been checking constantly over the last few weeks, still no further updates for us. Would agree not much activity on the threads etc, wish they would just hurry up and process them all in time for xmas!

Based in South Birmingham, not too far from B'ham airport. As soon as I hear anything I will be sure to post on here. I have gotten into the bad habit of checking CIC twice a day lol

We're not really sure yet when we're going to land, but it has to be before 6 Aug 2011 - that's when the medical expires. My boyfriend may go to Toronto on his own for 4 or 5 days in February to see what it's like in the winter. He's starting to get scared after feeling what -10C is like last week.
We're planning on moving summer of 2011 or 2012, but it depends on how much money we can save. I'm a teacher so moving any other time of year would make it even more difficult to find a job.

That's funny - I took my husband over in Feb a couple of years ago to 'experience' a wee bit of winter. He loved it, but only 2 weeks, so hard to get the full impact of it. We're heading over again this Feb, as a reminder

Do they just send an email when the PR is approved? I'm worried they'll get my email address wrong.
Getting ansy as we want to go over as soon as possable (hopefully late Jan early Feb).
I'm not worried about the snow as I'm going to spend at least the first week building snow men, forts and snow cocks.

Haha DanielM I was thinking exactly the same thing, worrying that they will get my email address wrong and I will never know they've sent it out!! I really just want the PPR to come through now....so tired of waiting and not being able to work.
Congrats Sarah & Gaz! Hopefully we wont be too far behind you!
Flexsingh I am from Wolverhampton originally so not far from you.
Good luck to everyone who's still waiting!! Hopefully we see some more PPRs before Christmas.
