I've sent them a 2nd escalation request on 11th September and they escalated on the 14th September.
my MP had also contacted them and MP wrote back to say the HO said they have until 19th October (6months) to decide my application. So not sure if any of these had a role in why I received the 31st October deadline email.

No request so far.

After scanning my documents, VFS here gave me a check list which ticked all documents I provided and got scanned. Do you have that kind of list. It actually can show that your sponsor's documents were included.

I remember they ticked in front of me on the list of supporting documents. I am planning to pay a visit to VFS centre today.

KernowIan I think it would be usefully for everyone who has received the 31st October mail to add their date of Biometrics (DOB) so we can evaluate whether a particular section (timeline) of applicants is being targeted or whether the mail has been a broader brush stroke.

Thanks

Did they also asked you to send again your supporting documents?

Your talking about i think the year 2000. The HO lost loads of papers and ended up approving them all, There was a lot about 2000 people. Some years later the applications were found piled high in a room

Another thing that I don't understand is how according to their processing times, there's different processing times for different cities within Australia. All of the applications get sent through to Sheffield for processing and so how can Adelaide have a 100% within 30 days and Sydney 100% in 90 days. We would have flown to Adelaide to apply of we knew that beforehand..

Oh my goodness. That's really bad. I hope they will not asked me to send again my supporting documents otherwise I will go back to the center and complain. You should go back and complain. This is some kind of a delaying tactic.

Hi. Anyone here from Manila, Philippines? I am just wondering what to do with the TB test once it expires? I am still waiting for the decision on my application as most of you are. Does this mean I need to get re-tested once I get approved?

Salamat!

We are from Manila. My wife worries about this. I would not worry about it. It is not your fault it has expired. As long as it was in date when you applied for your visa or date of biometrics. If you get your visa there is a doctor at the airport as far as i know!
