Hi,

It's my second application and on October, 23rd I was told a decision has been made.
However, nothing has been sent to me so far.

Today have called UKVI at 11.01am and spoke to them for 5 minute at the cost of £1.37 per minute.

I was told my case was escalated on October, 30 by my lawyers request, as nobody knows why my papers have not been posted yet.

I have to wait 20 working days for them to find out and if by then nothing have been done I was advised to contact them again.

Mrs got a text message that decision has been made on application spouse visa non priority. Decision made on 10th November. 59 working days. Mrs spoke to couriers in India and they did not say if the papers were with them or not but said they said will call when to collect. Fingers crossed

I got my decision made and collection emails within hours this morning. I went to pick up my passport and was happy to see my visa was granted.
Visa type : settlement /wife- priority
Biometrics: 27th September
Country : Nigeria
Decision made and collection emails: 15th November
Passport collected: 15 November
Visa granted!

All thanks to God.

Hello,

I just reached day 67, applying from the United States. Its so depressing not being able to be with my fiancee. I looked this morning and UKVI updated the processing times for standard visa applications and the % of processed visa for US applications dropped from 96% at 60 to just 71%. So, just means I will wait longer….. you may want to check on the UKVI website to see if the processing times for India have changed. Hope to hear some good news as both our birthdays are next week. Would be the best gift ever to get my visa.

Hi I am from March too the 15 to be more precise I haven`t received any email not even the 31 October only two not straightforward email I have escalated it through my solicitor and did not receive anything so I done it my self on the phone and just got confirmation of the escalation that`s all I am back waiting again ! don`t know what to do ! I am fuming

Thanks. My wifes visa got approved. Decision made on 10th Nov. Went to pick up today for Mrs to see that lovely vignette inside.

I received the "not straightforward" email around day 57 also. Makes me so sad. We have had to reschedule our ceremony and cancel travel plans that we had for a holiday/honeymoon in December as I won't be able to travel because UKVI have my passport.

Congratulations. My wife applied priority in Nigeria and did her biometrics about a week after you so this gives me some hope that we may get a decision soon.
