Just to change tack, My mother in laws app is accepted and processing.
expected time 5-6 months.
She is looking forward to the move and "reinventing" herself, God help us.

The way I see it is BE is primarly a website for British Expats to let off steam about the country/situation they now find themselves in. Believe it or not a few years ago we were much more vocal than we are now.
My hat goes off to Americans who post on here...there is no way I could join the UKYankee website and read the posts slagging of my country.

The way I see it is BE is primarly a website for British Expats to let off steam about the country/situation they now find themselves in. Believe it or not a few years ago we were much more vocal than we are now.
