I don't remember seeing Fish & Chips on the menu, but then again it was early morning, maybe it was just a breakfast menu I was looking at.

since when has the time of day stopped Americans eating what they want I have witnessed chicken dinners in IHOP at 10.30am and my BIL did have all you can eat shrimp one morning as he claimed he was jet- lagged :scared:

I too think it's weird to eat 'lunch/dinner' food at breakfast time, so I wouldn't have looked at that part of the menu, I obviously didn't even notice it, even if it was there!

I agree with you, I also think it's weird that they will have pancakes & meat on the same plate, I don't want my sweets touching my savory food, I don't even like using the same cutlery, I have to wipe it off!

OMG don't get me started about having to use the same dam*ed cutlery, I hate it. I find it disgusting having to try to clean a knife and fork with a paper napkin to reuse them. I always ask for a clean set of cutlery and they look at me as though I have four heads. It is one thing that I will never get used to.....ever.

oh god...don't tell me you use separate knifes when making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich

that doesn't bother me but I always used to find it odd to see Jello (jelly) in the salad bar....isn't that stuff supposed to be served at Birthday parties with blamanche??

have you bin here long?

I guess I just take it as it comes...actually I read something very interesting a while ago...about the Welsh who moved to and help build America.......apparently tons more Welsh moved here than Irish but we all just succumbed to our new world...eagerness to forget the old? or just adaption? anyway apparently the Irish steadfastly wanted to stick together hence we have a definite Irish theme in certain American cities....did we forget the Welsh or did they just adapt better...I'd say the latter

p.s try peanut butter on sliced banana topped with raisins....yum
