Aren't most of Congress and Senate been lawyers at one time or another. Don't know if this is true but it seems like it.

I don't know why the judges don't throw these ridiculous cases out of court as fast as possible. Even entertaining the idea that a corp like Walmart can get out of something like this is insanity. Same as with drunk drivers who knock down and kill someone then go and sue the pub landlord or whatever. It stuns me that the judges even give it the time of day.
I won't be suprised if in the near future you open an atlas and in place of America it reads "WalMart, the corporation/country formerly known as America."

As we all know they all seem to live in a wibbly-wobbly world of their own so this probably explains a lot.

Seems clear enough to me. And to you, I believe.
P.S. How's your mother doing?

To PUT THIS INTO PERSPECTIVE people. Walmart have done nothing wrong - YET.
There is a timeline to file to the courts that you may wish to go to court over this matter, sometime in the future.
Most companies/lawyers do this to buy time, to investigate possible cases of fraud, misrepresentation or some other possible abuse of their checks and balances.
I am willing to bet, these Walmart lawyers don't even know anything in detail about the case or what it entails. Now hopefully, after a short investigation, they will see this women as a genuine case and not take any further action on it.
Not a fan of Walmart myself though although I love their low prices !! - Don't you?
