Ours is set to 78 when we're in. During the day when we're at work we let it go up to 85. Programmable thermostats are a marvelous thing.

I would love that. Nothing better than the air with a chill in it and being cozy under a duvet. Right now the house is set at ... grrr ... 75! Which means my husband turned it up again on me - thanks for inspiring me to check. Cooler is better - and I can't stand to sleep without at least a sheet on. Just a weird idiosyncrasy I guess.

Hee hee. Mine was a wrestler in high school so it's unlikely that I'd be able to get at him with a brick without being turned into a pretzel first. Hopefully this heat will break soon and that will make things more pleasant.

Set thermostat to 78F in summer, it rarely come on. 68F in winter.
Average high temp here varies from 57 to 73, and av lows 56 to 44.
Humidity is not an issue.
