Hi Beth
Great news to hear that you feeling stronger in yourself. You have a long road ahead of you but you can do it
I was at a very low point a few months back and a friend said to me
'sometimes you have to climb a mountain to see the wonderful view'
and you know what, it's true. You are already on your way up your mountain.
Where are you heading back to? We are going back to UK from Spain at the end of next week (can't wait) and will be in Penwortham, Lancashire. If there is anything we can do to help from that end give me a shout.
Take care
Christine

Sounds like you are making terrific progress! Kudos to PP for all the ground work as well.

Now what else can we do - moral support vibes are heading your way of course, but is there anything else that can be done from the other side of the world?

The only way is up, now, huh!

Latest Update!!

First of all, sorry ive been unable to post for a few days, unfortunately i got a little sick on Monday (did a bit too much) i'm now feeling much better and overjoyed to tell you my flight is finally booked and i leave for the UK next week (Friday 30th Jan) 8days to go and counting, Yipeeeeeeee

I was a little nervous to say the least when i made that 1st phone call last Sunday (midnight) Had stayed up the whole night long, and as exhausted as i was, it was certainly worthwhile. However, there's been a change since my last post. My mum has called me on Tuesday, and as stated previously i had not wanted to impose and she had no idea of my plans. Unfortunately she's had quite a lot health issues and problems of her own, so the last thing she needed was mine!! On the contrary she gave me a good telling off that i'd kept it from her, which was followed by her insistence that i went to stay with her. In fact i had no choice....she said she'd hunt me down if i didnt. LOL.

I did admit on an earlier post, pride was one of my biggest downfalls, but after speaking with mum, pride had to go on the back burner (just for a little while) She has even arranged transport (a friend of her's has offered to drive) and she is going to meet me at the airport....isnt that just the best news ever!!!! Woooohoooo i am soooooo excited i cant type this post fast enough lol. I havent seen her in 6yrs....so next Friday cant come fast enough.....i'm finally GOING HOME!!!

It's now 4.45 in the morning, and have another busy day tomorrow, so i must sign off and get some rest. As soon as i can get access to a computer i'l be back to let you all know how things are progressing Still cant believe its really happening, but yipeeee it is

At 1pm Friday Jan 30th, i'l be on a plane heading home to England (with i promise the biggest smile EVER) i just couldn't wait to share this with you

Take care everyone
Love and lots of (((hugs)))
Beth

Awww Mums always want the best for their kids no matter how old we get. If you were mine I'd hunt you down and make you come home too
I'll be thinking of you flying home with a big grin on your face.

Congratulations, Beth! Good for you for pulling this all together. It's clearly not been easy.

I'm not surprised about your mum. Mum's are mums and of course she's keen to help you and hug you. I bet she's over the moon that she'll see you again soon.

Bloody Brilliant!!!!

We on here are so proud of our friend and the strides you are making to reclaim your life!

Never keep your mum out of the loop I reckon, they can often come up trumps and for her to organize meeting you at the airport - great stuff!!!!

Beth, just look how far you have come in a week and use that as fuel for the rest of your journey.

hello Beth, this is great and I'm already looking forward to your first post from the UK !!!

I know there's probably no need to post this but make sure you've got everything prepared... plan out the journey to the airport, call them ahead if you need assistance, check your passport is close to hand, grab your credit card and flight ticket details... then get going!

I'm sure there's lots of other stuff too. I just want it all to go smoothly for you, best wishes.

Hi Beth
See I told you you are a strong woman. Look at what you have achieved in just a few days. I bet the view looks good now eh! (it will look even better when you get back to UK).
I am so proud of you
I fly back with my 2 girls on 31st (OH will arrive before me as he is driving over with the dog). We are so excited to be 'going home'.
We will have to keep in touch when we get back
Take care and have a great flight back (I'm sure you will be smiling so much on the plane the stewards will wonder what you are up to)
