Survival hints:
1. Withdraw money from the bank (incase of power cut)
2. Prepare flashlights, batteries and candles.
3. Bottled water and non-perishable foods.
4. Fill bath tub with water.
5. Gas canisters and portable stove.
6. Do all laundry before any power cuts.
7. Gasoline

Our local TV is showing some moron on a jet ski in NY Harbour.

Aye, that's the one, typing in the dark ain't so great
Anyway. A friend's neighbour just had their roof knocked in from a falling tree, but they still have power.
We've had a few power flutters, but it's still on.

I can't believe I actually bought a ****ing oil lamp today. They cancelled my college classes and my shift at work.
Other than my panic purchase of said lamp my other storm preperations have consisted of watching all my redbox rentals and carb loading on turkey hot dogs. I'm good to go for at least 2 days.
