I was over the moon when the discount card at the local got it to $1.97G

Bulk store a few towns over is at $1.94G but the range is still up to the $2.35 mark for the cheap stuff in the area.

Yesterday evening it was $1.99, this morning it was $1.91, then on the way home it was $2.19. All irrelevant because I filled up two days ago at $2.15, but there was still a short-lived dip below $2.00 for at least 12 hours ...

We had a bizarre hiccough last week, with the cheapest gas going up by 8¢, to $1.889, but other areas still sliding, so instead of having a price range of more than 20¢, the price range in my bailiwick is now only 5¢-6¢.

I nearly fell over when I saw the price today at the world's first Costco in San Diego.
$2.199. A few days ago it was $2.35.

The prices have now inverted - the price has continued to fall at what were the higher priced stations, and continued to rise at what were previously lower priced stations. The the station that was selling at $1.959 is now selling at $1.889,and the station that was selling at $1.899 is now selling at $1.959.

It had gone down as far as $1.84G but over the weekend, jumped to $1.91G with the discount card, which is about 10c cheaper than anywhere else, including the bulk stores.
