There are thousands of different reasons and circumstances.
The question is: why would you want to move to Florida on a crappy visa like the E2?
Do you even have a business plan?
Do you have a plan B in case your visa is not renewed?
And most importantly: what about your children?

Ok point taken. we are seeing someone about it all in the next few weeks to sort out if there is a possibility for us and what the best route would be. The children are our main priority and we have to make sure that we get it right. We would definately not continue if the children could not get their own visas.
We have visited the US on several occasions and just want the opportunity for a better lifestyle for us as a family (I know there are alot of people who dont necessarily agree)
I know we have a very long way to go but hopefully we will get there eventually.

I am not knocking it at all, I am very happy here, but I would probably have been just as happy going to Oz, but who knows.

If someone tells you: oh yes, the kids will get visas! that really shouldn't mean much to you. What you need to know about is what status they will have in the US and what it will mean to them. Ray just gave you some very potent examples.
Just proceed with caution, as there are a lot of "someones" out there who will be happy to take your fee, tell you what you want to hear and leave you high and dry when it counts.
