established? I've yet to find a game I must have for mine. I have the original 5 games I got when I bought it. Last time I played it was Christmas last year. My daughter like the dancing games - not a single dance game or mat available - established indeed

We have waited over a year for a dance game to come out. She uses the PS2 it replaced more than the XBOX 360.
With over 8,000 games for the PS2 it was a shock to suddenly have a very limited selection to choose from. Most games I tried were disappointing, with graphics little better than Halo for the original XBOX. Two games I have I consider junk - Tiger Woods PGA tour 2006 and Need for Speed most wanted. I haven't bought a single game or played it since Christmas last year. I just had to buy the console though, premium and the wireless controllers etc, spoilt pr!ck that I am . . .

PS3 and Xbox360 are roughly equivalent (USBound expert insider knowledge ). The PS3 is more expensive at ($499-$599) but includes a Bluray DVD player. The equivalent for the Xbox360($299-$399) is a $200 addon for the HD DVD standard (think of betamax vs VHS)
Nintendo decided that trying to match Microsoft and Sony would bankrupt them and so went an alternative route. The Wii ($249) uses a special controller that can sense where it is and where it is pointing. Nintendo's plan is to put emphasis on the gameplay aspect instead of graphics.

It was interesting to see the debate here (although I was lost very early on!)

I liked Call of Duty 2, a little too linear in game play though - complete this section by taking this route and doing this task this exact way, it was a little dull.
I liked Vice City on the PS2, plenty of different ways to play the game. Completing missions one day, to mindless violence the next - a bit like my workplace . . .

It's pretty crazy that the PS3 is already selling for $2000+ on eBay. A couple Japanese ones are already on there, and there are a bunch of people who pre-ordered and are selling. Nice little profit on your $600!!!
