They sell canned Heinz Spotted Dick in the UK section of Meijer supermarkets locally, it is becoming very old, having people point out that you can buy 'spotted dick' I even had one woman bring me a photo into work on her phone... like I had never seen it before or had no knowledge.... Ggggrrrr.

My god, Soreen. If I was imprisoned in a cell made of foot-thick walls of that stuff and you told me I had to eat my way out, I'd reduce it to a shell an inch thick. It's a good thing I don't live where I can get that stuff, or I'd be as big as a house now. Do I like it? Um, it's not that... it just kind of, you know, seduces me into eating it. With fresh butter. Gah.
As for spotted dick... I would like to try making it, and also clootie dumpling... where DO you find suet?
