At least in the US they have good water pressure wherever you live, in the UK they call it a power shower , power showers are the normal over here.

If there's a water tower serving the town, that keeps decent pressure in the system. It's not always the case though; we rented a house on a well and the pressure was kind of crap.

If you plan to hit those towns in Maine, you should nip off exit 113 on I-295/95 towards Belfast and Lake St George, but when you get to China, nip right to Rockland, then it's all Rt1 coastal connector backrounds out through the rest of the towns out to Bar Harbor and they're cracking little towns and sea drive. There's also a fantastic little pub in Lincolnvile called the Whales Tooth, worth checking out for lunch

Cheers Bob

I will definitely be asking for 'special' places/areas from the peeps on here, once we start out. depending on how 'nice' the taxman is this morning, we are looking at cutting ties here just after Christmas this year!

That thread might be worth a browse as there's a good list of towns across the country people have recommended

Our last house had a well and septic system. After 12 years of poor pressure upstairs, I learned you could adjust the pump relay mechanism and increase the pressure. Shortly after that, I found out where the builders had nailed dry wall and siding nails into water pipes when the house was built, the increase in pressure started them all leaking.....

The "ghetto" of Beverly Hills certainly doesn't, alas
Garden sprinklers pop up gasping for water....tricle....trickle
But all's well in "ghetto" today. It rained last night
