I've seen that around here, but like you mentioned, nae cheap....hmmm...

Magic hat ain't to bad though...well it's an amusing collection of beers, and if nothing else, they have amusing stuff on the inside of the bottle tops

speaking of Corona has anyone else seen the little bottles of Corona called 'Coronitas' I mistakenly picked them up in the supermarket the other day, they are so small that they are pointless, hubby thought I was taking the piss, one gob full and they're gone..they only contain 7 fl.oz. What is the point? I am assuming by the name they are aimed at women, my 2 y/o thinks they're cute though and calls them 'baby beers'..

They have it in Whole Foods here. Unfortunately I found it to be a case of nice bottle, shame about the beer. No flavour.

Pilsner Urquell is on tap everywhere around here. Always a good fall back. Even better is Trumer Pils - on tap a few places here and bottles everywhere else.

As far as Bud goes, I knew quite a few people back in the UK who drunk it. No idea why. Although the UK version does taste somewhat better.

As for me, I drink the beers of many US breweries including Deschutes (finally 'appeared' in one of the pueblo liquor stores - been missing that stuff), Full Sail, Widmer, Bridgeport, Santa Fe Brewing, Il Vicino (a pizza chain), Rogue (anything with the Morimoto signature is damned tasty), Rio Grande (they have a very interesting New Mexico green chile beer). Note I have a distinct preference for northwest beers.

Shiner, Fat Tire and Sierra Nevada when necessary. Really don't rate them very high.

Guinness for the road - it's low alcohol.

I have never seen a Coronitas in America, but I did stumble across them in Mexico City a few years back.

I saw this in my local Giant Eagle yesterday. If they have it you should be able to find it pretty easily.

I have finally found Carlsberg Elephant beer in Fort Myers.

They have it in stock at the liquor store on McGregor Blvd/San Carlos in the same mall as Big Lots.

For some strange reason, Sam Adams in terminal B at Newark near the gate that the Virgin flights go from is really, really good. We've tried it in other parts of that terminal and the other terminals and nothing comes close. In fact, it's pretty undrinkable everywhere else full stop.

It's really bizarre but we do look forward to traveling back to England even more now.

I read a revue of this beer which said it was a shadow of it's former self.

However, the stuff I have found is a direct import from Copenhagen and from what I remember it has the same flavour and same effect as that I drank in the 80s.

It's been on sale all over the place over here, but at around $6 a bottle, I don't think I'll be getting it anytime soon *l*

Ohhh. That's expensive! The UK standard 500ml bottles are $3.99 at Total Wine.
