Thank you bubble 123 honestly you have been a tremendous help and your kind words are much appreciated and above all I hope your email comes ASAP. They have asked for the documents I took to my interview, which was my passport and ACRO certificate but I'm sure they took the ACRO certificate from me at the interview?

You're welcome. Please keep us posted on turnaround times.

Yes I would just send your passport that's what we do, that's what they normally refer too.

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Sorry to be a pain, but did they take your or partners ACRO certificate from you during the interview?

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Yes they kept it. Sometimes they return it with the passport once visa's in it. I think they keep them now.

You only need to send your passport, correct. If it was me, I'd print and include a copy of the email also - but your passport is all that's required.

Ian is right, I just a short while ago I sent mine off and the instructions were....to print off the instructions (it has the DS160 bar code on) with the courier receipt and send that off with the passport.

I received my police certificate back with my passport and they kept it at the interview.

Enjoy your honeymoon pal!

Best of luck! Was it a normal tourist visa you applied for or some other kind?

Yes, normal tourist visa - Husband has been referred for a waiver of ineligibility, if granted this will be his second one.

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Email received today approving me for 1 year.
My timeline was interview on the 12th Feb, however additional docs were required so final paperwork didn't go till 26th Feb, so overall waiting time was 27 weeks.
As I have already booked Canada I don't think I'll worry about sending my passport off straight away. I have 60 days so I'll do it when I get back.
It's clear they are getting through the backlog based on everyone's posts. I would have to seriously wonder about those at the 40 week and above mark.

Good luck everyone. I'll stay in touch.

Congrats to being approved!
Has your CEAC status change recently? Mine just went in to Administrative Processing yesterday on Sept 2nd, I'm guessing (hoping) that means someone is actually reviewing it even though I know people has been sitting in that status for weeks.

Thank you!!! No ironically mine is still sitting at Refused.

I have decided I am going to send m passport as we might like a day trip to Seattle when we are in Vancouver. Has everyone else that's been approved know if it's one entry or multiple? I'm guessing that varies.

Thanks bubble!!! I must admit I did a happy dance. It's a tad frustrating as I literally work 500 metres from the consulate. It would be nice if I could just go down on my lunch break and let the out the visa in personally.

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Just checked my application number on CEAC page and it states my visa has been issued, however they refer me to the Bazilian Embassy web site, checked my hubbys number (he has his visa) again states issued and refers him to the Singapore Embassy. Seeing as we both had our interviews in London and I am still waiting for an email, I have no idea what is going on.

I'd email London about that, maybe take a screen shot and attach it in the email.
My husband's has said Administrative Processing from the start and doesn't appears to have been updated.

Can anyone who has received the visa back tell me do you get any pre notice it's coming back or does it just turn up with a courier? Particularly if you went to Sydney? Thank you.

E-mail received today, interview was held on Jan 26th although waiver application wasn't sent to the ARO until Feb 2nd, didn't say how long it was issued for or the number of entries. Since I applied for an L1 work visa i assume (hope) it's for the full period. Good luck to those still waiting and thanks for everyone giving advice.
