That was me so fingers crossed my info can also help someone else, hopefully getting a reply in june time if the 9 month timeline holds true, thank you 😊
Is this his 1st waiver? I'm still holding out hope for the 9.5 month mark (290 days) as this will be my 2nd waiver in London but as the spreadsheet shows, some cases are for some reason, taking far longer than the average. Will be interesting to see what the embassy is quoting in the most recent interviews and whether it is in line with the ARO website timeframes.

Good news, today I received email confirmation that I have to send my passport to the London embassy. I had my interview for my VISA in London on 03/06/2024.

However, I'm currently overseas (for work) and won't be able to send my password until I'm home (~April 23rd).

This will fall outside of the 30 day window I am requested to send the documents for processing. Does anyone have any experience in contacting the embassy to inform them that it will not be possible to send a passport within the 30 day window?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, thanks for posting here.

I will defer to others who may have had a similar requirement for sending back their passport after 30 days.

We don't have an entry for you in the tracker so I would love to add one as it helps everyone else who is waiting. Was this your first waiver? B1/B2 or another?

thanks

Congrats. I'd send an email to this address after advising them of the delay and circumstances:

Was this your first waiver?

I've never been able to edit the spreadsheet but happy to write them down on a note here. They dont show whether they're a first time waiver and I'm guessing the person updating it is a solicitor as they talk about clients. The timeframes are very sporadic with some waiting 11/12 months and some from August 2024 already getting a response! It also seems there was a large amount of applications in April 2024 due to fee increases? Which might explain delays.

That fee increase is a strong contender for the cause of the delays! Now that I have shared the link in that forum, let's see if there is any feedback from them. Will be great if they start to contribute.

A plea to all the lurkers here :-) Please do say hi, so we can create an entry for you in the tracker. The more data we have, the more useful the sheet is for everyone who is waiting. Everyone is in the same boat.

Completely agree - it is also reassuring to hear that things are moving (even though it feels at times like they are not!) - two requests in one day from London is a positive step forward for those of us still waiting for some news 🤞🏼
Hi to the recent new joiners 👋🏼

great news Franco, congrats. It looks like the B1/B2 wait time in London keeps getting chipped a little.

Brian next hopefully in the next few days.
