Where did you attend the appointment?

His interview was also London, but on 17th Feb this year. We at 8 months now. Never heard anything! It's shocking these processing times.

For future reference, if you click on a person's username, you get the option to look at their prior posts.

So I have been following this thread with the dreaded wait for a visa I have had an email today after visiting the embassy London on 17th Feb 15, I have sent my passport today via Royal Mail special delivery now I am panicking that I can't send it like this. I am probably over reacting but can anyone clarify if they have sent passport like this ? Thanks

I've never used Royal Mail special delivery. When I applied for a visa back in 2011 the only option was to use the DX courier service.

That said, a passport is obviously a very important document so I think it's only natural to stress about it when it's out of your hands and in transit. I'm sure it will eventually be fine though.

I'll not be happy until I get it back and I don't think I will apply again the whole process is stressful and lengthy I live so far away from the embassy and have to have 2 days to go to a visa appointment it's just not worth the hassle for me anyhow x

Husband also got email for passport to be sent yesterday.
Had interview in London on 17th February. Passport was sent today with DX Courier as requested by the embassy.
