Not all of course, but over half*. And when you consider that the rest is made up of citizens from every other country in the world, and no European nation is in the top 10, that's quite a bit. It's no surprise that Illegal immigrants from Ireland and the UK are under the radar. While it may seem that there are "plenty", statistically, they're not even a drop in the bucket.

Also probably because it depends on location...you find loads of illegal Irish folks working the bars in Boston, probably for every 1 that's on a J1 or some other exchange program, there's at least 10 who aren't.

Your probably less likely to see that number of Irish trying their luck in AZ though.

True, but they are probably also 'under the radar' because they are not instantly recognizable.

Well since the new law is being called racist and racial profiling, then I suppose there needs to be a law that ALL immigrants are required to have their papers with them wherever they go and show them upon request. That solves the racial profiling problem I think?

Listen to their accent. However that does create a problem for Puerto Ricans like me, especially since we are overrun by boatloads of illegal immigrants from the Dominican Republic that look similar to us. But then again I have my passport and when I fly, take the train, or go on the Greyhound I take my passport with me. They could also give the police access to your immigration status as well when they run your driver's license when you get pulled over.

Of course had the federal government actually enforced the laws ALREADY IN THE BOOKS, we wouldn't have to be in this predicament would we? But unfortunately we've had at least 3 dumbass presidents who were very pro-illegal immigration who sat on their thumbs and did nothing. Of course my idea is to have NAFTA repealed so that way Mexican farmers can have a fair competitive advantage of selling their food to markets here and in Mexico without threat of cheap imports from the U.S. maybe then most Mexicans would go back to Mexico instead, funny how most illegals that live here are usually from rural areas
