Thanks Bix

At least we know we can get some bikes now that are cheap enough won't bother bringing them.

Kids will need bigger though they are wee men now they will need at least 26" wheels, but thanks for looking.

By the way how did you get that picture of my house

Not exactly sure yet. Visa should be finalised in a couple of weeks (hopefully). Then will be on the first plane out. Wish we had a crystal ball :)

Sorry no.
Having lived in White Rock for 3 months the only view I want of it is from a car window as I drive past.

3% of Cairns populace.
There is a library I think, and um, there is a library I think.

White Rock community characteristics are different from the broader Cairns population in the following ways.
  • Younger population
  • Higher than average proportion of the population is Indigenous (more Aboriginal people)
  • Higher than average proportion of the population speaks a language other than English at home
  • Higher than average proportion of one-parent families
  • High levels of ownership, and low levels of ownership
  • Lower than average costs of housing
  • Lower than average levels of education, but higher than average proportion of the population is currently enrolled in primary school
  • Higher than average proportion of the workforce travels to work by car as the driver
Key concerns that affect local people include;
  • Youth issues
  • Individual and community health
  • Access to services and facilities, including arts and cultural development, and transport
  • Poor quality urban design, which affects mobility/ physical accessibility around the area
