Hi Windog so glad you arrived safely and have had a nice time since your arrival. Im booking my removal company today so another milestone for me too. Im really looking forward to it now I think you start to prepare mentally to leave. Its cold now here so that has helped just wading through the to do list now. Enjoy the build up to xmas and hope to see you and Karen in the new year I bet shes so happy now her family are all together again enjoy!

Sorry! I must remember to keep quiet! The only problm I have with the beer is staying awake long enough to drink it! I seem to have turned "natural Queenslander" .....wide awake by 05:30.......falling asleep by 19:30!

Hi! looking forward to meeting "the famous Bix"! The tidying up I think is going to get left untill K goes back to work!.....and the view is definately great!

The fun we're having at the moment is how to get all the "official" documents sorted.....everybody want so many pieces of "idenification"....but nobody wants to be the first to give you one!.....I think we've worked it out now.....it seems if K tells the license place who I am its all ok!

Hi Kaye we were offered a further 10% off from white and co if we booked before 1st dec so theyve paid for the insurance. Make sure you barter as they all dropped their quotes a couple of hundred pounds. xx Trudi

Hi,

found a house on realestate.com.au and sent all documents ID, bank statement etc via email to realestate agent. They were very helpful and the owners of the house have also rang us to sort out a few details. They are leaving some things in the house to start us off and even offered to let us rent their car. We also paid 6 months rent upfront from the money we made selling our UK house. Cant wait to leave all the smog behind also might catch a glimpse of something called the sun for a change

Kaye

Just saw mountain bikes in K-Mart at $59 each.

Boys & girls.

Basic with about 20 inch wheels I suppose.

Mate of mine was just saying how he's made a killing renting out his property in Palm Cove.

Just a matter of angling the photo correctly on realestate.com
