When I heard this, my first assumption was that it must be in Florida, but no, it was in Maryland.
A Lowe's employee broke into a Lowe's, stole a forklift, drove it about half a mile to a Home Depot, where he deliberately ran the forklift into a car parked in the parking lot. There was a woman in the car - she got out and ran, and the forklift thief chased her in the forklift, and ran over her killing her. There is no news yet on the relationship, if any, between the killer/ thief and the woman. This source says there was no connection between the two.

Unfortunately "be 72 years old" may be much of the answer.
Though if it was me I would focus on using obstables that a warehouse forklift can't cope easily with, such as climbing steps or even getting up a curb, as seen in the video thumbnail, or by dodging behind a tree, but that may be because I have more experience with forklifts than most 72 year old women.
