In the UK thee QVC shopping channel has a 'Christmas in July' weekend but they are often selling things That are on 'Easy Pay' so I suppose the idea is that they are all paid for before Christmas. Still 'Shop Early for Christmas'

What channels are you seeing this on? I haven't noticed this watching Comcast/Xfinity channel lineup.

They do that here in NZ , calling it mid-winter Christmas.
