WTF in America Part 2

If it wasn't for the fact that there are no moose there, this would surely have happened in Florida.

A Minnesota man who allegedly confessed to the brutal bludgeoning death of a convicted sex offender has been charged with second-degree murder, say authorities. Authorities say Axtell, 27, allegedly .... admitted to driving to the home of a 77-year-old man, entering the victim's residence, and hitting him over the head "15-20 times with a spade-style shovel" .... [and] .... "finished him off" by striking him on the head several times with a large moose antler. .....

I find WH to be a reasonable basic diner restaurant, with a leaning towards breakfasts. I had breakfast at a WH last Saturday, country ham, eggs sunny-side-up, and hash browns "covered and capped" (with cheese and mushrooms). The coffee was on the "good" side of average.

I am not sure if WH is still expanding, but their locations peter out rapidly west of the Mississippi (except in Texas) and north of the Mason-Dixon line. But it seems like the sort of business that could succeed anywhere.

Leaving aside the guy’s genitalia, how the hell did he get those muscles? They didn’t have proper gyms and weight rooms in those days.

Nashville shooting, seven dead. School only goes up to grade 6, so presumably she (the shooter) was no older than 12, unless an outsider or former student. (Media says she was a teenager).

Police say they shot and killed the attacker, who they said was a 28-year-old woman with two assault-style rifles and a pistol
According to the K-12 School Shooting Database resource, there have been at least 89 instances of gun violence at kindergarten through 12th grade schools or during school activities in the US this year.
