WTF in America

Re: WTF in America
KFC is the only fast food my 80 yo mam will even contemplate. She's a really healthy eater most of the time, but KFC gets her right off the rails.
She crossed McDonalds off her list after being met with blank stares when asking for a knife and fork on her first visit

She lived to 94, and continued to eat it a few times a month until she died.

That doesn't really surprise me, their pricing is completely out of this world (in Canada anyhow) and so not worth it, probably the most expensive fast food place one could choose.
And they don't even have biscuits, but fries here. The one in my town went bust, the franchisee couldn't get people to eat there.

Whenever I'd see a news story about some animal rights activists complaining about KFC, I'd think Mmmmmmmmm.... I could go for a nice bucket of extra crispy right now and go get one. Awesome. Anyone else ever go there and find out they're out of chicken or that Pizza Hut is out of dough? Shouldn't you just close for the day if you're out of your main ingredient?

Yeah, I have to agree with you there. Now, that's not to say that I couldn't get a good pizza in Blighty - Little Italy in Belfast (a tiny little place tucked away in a side street in the city centre) was brilliant but I do love an American pizza.
I'm doubly lucky that I live in the Chicago area, we love our pizzas here

My current favorite is a thin crust "white" garlic Pizza. Yum!
