Ditto. On the plus side, it was hilarious - irate American trying to antagonise a bunch of Brits (and other nationalities), but failing miserably and just having the piss taken out of her. Kind of like a 3 year old that tries to get attention by having a tantrum, and her parents just laugh at her and talk amongst themselves instead.

As I sit on a forum of say-100 Brits you say I'm not being taken seriously. Perhaps that's entirely accurate. I can live with that. On he other hand, you're surrounded by roughly 320 million people and I can promise you love, you're being laughed at as well. It's just we try to be PC and keep it behind closed doors. Well that was a thoroughly entertaining read! I wonder if he/she'll come back. Probably won't be too fussed with me as I'm Scottish and am pretty positive and happy to be living in the US and am embracing the culture. Don't want to encourage him/her though, wouldn't be a good idea would it?

You can get the British cut of bacon at various butchers-usually small shops, not big grocers. One Sunday a month our family has a proper British breakfast. So sorry, to detract from your witticism but the answer is YES. Sorted.
