Yeah pretty good.
Yup. Got the reaction he/she wanted, so win/win.

Wow...looks like I missed the party.....but fun reading after the fact
My money stays under the mattress.
But my verdict is:
Lonely troll with a grandiose self-image - one which leads her to harbour the delusion that she speaks for all Americans.
Poor Mr. Ellegiselle (if he even exists)

Tough for those of us in England/Britain, I come upon this at eight in the morning and have to read all thirteen pages at one go. Fair warning, I'm coming to America on Monday, I plan to sneer at the Americans and such.

Excellent. You can take back and spread more English ways. Meanwhile, I will continue to spread the word back here in Blighty about how superior we are to those across the pond. So far I'm not finding it difficult to convince anyone. Every now and then I come across one of those Desperate To Move to the US types and they are more of a challenge.

I was wondering which of our PNW men has the misfortune to be married to the OP

I want to know if the OP has been to Rome. The majority of Americans are not particularly liked in Italy.

Great city....fantastic ice creams...I would very much recommend a trip to the Eternal City....but do take GREAT care when crossing the road as there is no such thing as a code of conduct for drivers there...very much a survival of the fittest and the fastest the spatially aware.
Oh, and another thing.....make sure your wallets and purses are well out of sight and reach...other than that.....Rome is pure heaven.
