When I saw that news my first thought was about Frank Stronach (Magna) - he was cut out of the Opel deal, so I wonder if he'll have a go at Saab.

Looks like this, but now has a tear in the front bumper after a Ford F150 scraped the front in an accident two weeks ago.

It really is a piece of crap car, but it was my first car, bought from an old lady who barely used it in 1999, so I have some affection for it.

Looking to buy something new, probably a Prius as my wife's turned into a complete eco-nut (went vegan last week, for no real reason) but my dream car would be either be a new crossover or one of Mummy in the foothills' husband's Mustangs. Loves me some muscle cars, I do.

 Thats exactly like my car, colour and year too. Bloodly awful looks like a fish from the front. But it fits everyone at a squeeze and I don't care if shopping trolleys hit it. We laugh when we park, I tell Dh make sure to lock it, Dd's car seat is worth more than the car

They have names, has have all our cars, I'm not ashamed to admit it. :p

Britishguy will be pleased to know we only ended up leasing one car.

First big road trip I did with my car was to Philadelphia. Not really far, but it was enough at the time. So we decided to name the car Paulie, after Rocky's brother in law, because it's a no good dirty bum that drinks too much.

Yeah, but the topic was "What do you drive?", not "What clutters your yard and garage?"!

2005 Subaru Outback - best car I've had. Handles off-road and dirt tracks with no problem, cruises happily on the interstates and is great in the snow. It's already done over 100K and I'm sure there is at least as much again still in it. The only thing I would change if I could is to get a manual instead of an automatic.
