Speaking of firsts I had my first corn dog at the weekend, how the hell are they so popular? They're absolutely disgusting. Got another 21 of the bloody things to get through too

Hey, I'm not discriminating against the US here. I wouldn't touch black pudding with a barge pole either... or tripe, or les escargots, or anything Andrew Zimmerman consumes on his 'yucky food program'.

lol.. well I am no fan of grits (gimme polenta, it's special then) or Twinkies (Ding Dongs are much better, but not MUCH better) and root beer puts me in a sugar coma now. But a corn dog every now and again? mmmmm

Have to agree with everything on that list..........would add hotdogs, whipping cream (way too sweet), hot chocolate (can't ever find it without sweetener) most sliced white bread, cucumbers(huge seeds) ..........there are lots of British foods I don't like too though, least of all, black pudding! frozen pizza, and porridge!

The first corndog I ever had was in Mississippi, and I thought it was the best thing EVER!!!! But ever since then I've only been able to find really disgusting ones....I never found a yummy one again
I'm wondering if the copious amounts of alcohol had something to do with it
