Tips, should I?

I only tip singers if they are really entertaining. My thinking is that they are probably working exclusively for tips and if they aren't that good then it's really just begging.

...and how much to tip a bartender?
I normally tip between 15% and 20%, 15% for good normal service, 20% for very good service, but should I tip a bartender the same percentage, and why?
A bartender seems to have to work less hard to serve me, so should they get a smaller percentage than a waiter/waitress?

Whenever we go to the casino (rarely these days) we get served drinks at our machines, we will normally tip the waitress about $20 at the start of our night, that ensures that we will get quicker service throughout the night and stronger drinks, if we win and have had good service, we will give her another tip with our last drink.
As for bar singers, we have only ever had one give us a songsheet, we put a tip in her glass as we were leaving the bar (I think it was $5)
Post lady and trash collector get $20 at Christmas, mani/pedi lady gets tipped approx $7 each visit and hairdresser gets $10.
