IMO episodes at the beginning and end of a series...the more hype...the more of a let down.

See the Lost thread. But yes, it did leave lots unanswered (or everything)

Did anyone see that new show "Good Guys" last week. (Can't remember what night it's on.)
Had Tom Hanks son in it, and it was freaky that he sounds so much like him.
Seemed to have potential, was fairly amusing.
Now that 24 is over we are thinking of getting rid of cable.
We held out until "The Shield" ended last year, and now "24" has ended there's really not much to entice us to keep it. The adverts do my head in, and Time Warner have now taken away the best film channel and given us another French channel...cheers for that.

Last night, my one night that I stay up to 11 during the work week, I was unprepared for the cliffhangers. NCIS, NCIS Lite and The Good Wife.
Note on The Good Wife- Somebody needs to give Peter's mother a kick in the can, make Alicia take a cold shower and tell Calinda to make up her mind.

Er no, Jack is far better than Cole (didn't like him). Kiefer looked quite scrummy in his little thank you speech at the beginning.

Yeah, I really liked the thank you bit...nice touch

We missed the last 2 mins of NCIS, 'cos of a tornado warning. FFS! When the sirens start, I'll dig a hole and hide in it, but until then, leave the TV alone!

What's that show with the doctor in the Hamtons? That's coming back for another series...it was cute, but I don't think it has the legs for another series...

But Burn Notice is back! Yippee! Looking forward to Leverage (TNT), Lie to Me (Fox) and Eureka (SyFy) too. Don't know if I'm going to bother with Weeds though. I like my TV characters to have some redeeming features.
