So what are the thoughts on the new run of shows?
The Blacklist - Someone who is wanted, gives himself up and ends up helping the feds, sounds very cheesy, but could be fun if you wanted another cop show...
Hostages - About hostages, but could be interesting, certainly looks like it might have potential if they don't drag it out.
Serangoon Road, it's a Aussie show, but sounds good, in the 60's set in Singapore, private eye kind of thing.
Also, shows that are back, Castle....kind of still liked it but really not liking the new characters terribly much, so we'll see how long that lasts.
Haven, it's going in a weird direction, thought it was nicely wrapped up in the last series, but it's still got some watch value and keeps you interested.

Spoiler:
Have recorded Hostages. The US version of the UK's great series about lottery winners starts this week. Hope they don't spoil it.
Looking forward to the continuing story of Law and Order SVU tomorrow night...2 hr episode. The guy is seriously creepy.
Also tomorrow is Criminal Minds.

How about posting opinions on new (and old) shows in a different thread?
That way, those of us with DVRs (and some, like me, are leaving the country for a week or so) won't look in this one and have something ruined for them, huh?

And if it's about what I've said on the new shows, well that's a summary of the blurbs put out on the shows themselves, so not any spoilers there.

Mom, supposed to be a comedy - not funny at all. 1st episode of course so might get better.
DVR'd Hostages and Blacklist - will wait to see if it lasts before I binge watch.
Hello Ladies (HBO) on Sunday - the other half of Ricky Gervias - looks funny.

Worst thing that happens is that you start a thread and people ignore it. Give it a go.

Would make a good little 4 part mini series, anything else and I see it dragging on like Homeland. Worth a punt though.
The Blacklist, that was a lot of fun though. Spader, well he looked terrible and I didn't even recognise it was him from the adverts, but he was great and they really kicked off a nice interesting back story in the first episode.
Have Marvels Agents of Shields lined up for later, but that looked a little too cheesy, so we'll see.
