Truly ace and inventive. We're addicted and the good thing about being so late to the party is we can watch hours of it at a time. (Do I need to get a life?)

I love to watch a whole series at once. Done the same with so many great series I've missed the first time round.

You're not the only one. We like to "binge watch" too. Just went through the last 3 seasons of Spooks. Got all of Breaking Bad to do. We also have the first 10 episodes of the current season of Dexter to go.

The Sopranos is an excellent series to watch in bulk if you haven't already seen it.

I binge watch too - I can't imagine waiting week after week to find out what happens.

It's funny, the last 6 months when I stay at my Mom's house, no tv there so it's very quiet, since I often have the tv on at home just for the background noise. But, I don't miss it when I'm at her house, just got used to the quiet I guess.

Talking about US remakes...

New fall show, Lucky 7 is a remake of The Syndicate and even has Lorraine Bruce (Denise) reprising her role in the new series. It hangs Spielburg's name on it as a producer, too.

I'll watch, but I worry - especially if they are going to try to drag a 6-parter out to fill an entire US series!

Not really for this or the UK thread as it's a Aussie show, but worth a punt for those who get it.

Miss Fishers Murder Mysteries

Second series just started a few days ago, nice little murder mystery set in the 1920's in Australia.

Oh and Ironside....sounds like a bad remake, but anyone else thinking of giving it a punt?
