Re: Tele
It must have caught me on a good day. I caught the last 15 minutes of it so time will tell if I end up hating it (I binge view things and usually end up hating them).
Plus I caught Web Therapy - and I never really laugh at it but for some reason I was in stitches at it the other day.
Mmmm, maybe its the new medication...

Re: Tele
On another note - the new episodes of Foyle War - is it something you need to start from the first series to get (like breaking bad) or can I start at last week's episode?

Re: Tele
I enjoyed the last ever episode of Dexter...even if the one of the final scenes looked very fake.
Final episode in the first series of Ray Donovan did not disappoint.

Anyone catch:
By Any Means? It's done by the Hustle folks, and sounds like they've just replaced conmen with dodgy but well meaning cops in a very Charlies Angels kind of setting.
Also, Saf3 - This is a emergency services type drama, sounds terrible, done by the folks who did Baywatch, but it does have the Dolph, so might be worth a check just for that bit of cheese, before it gets cancelled...

Re: Tele
That was a wasted 45 minutes that would have been better spent hammering rusty nails through my nut sack.
Quite possibly the worst show I've seen this year. The acting was monumentally shit, the storyline was epically bad and the characters were beyond dire.
How this made production is incredible. They should have burned this in a pit.

So what are the thoughts on the new run of shows?
The Blacklist - Someone who is wanted, gives himself up and ends up helping the feds, sounds very cheesy, but could be fun if you wanted another cop show...
Hostages - About hostages, but could be interesting, certainly looks like it might have potential if they don't drag it out.
Serangoon Road, it's a Aussie show, but sounds good, in the 60's set in Singapore, private eye kind of thing.
Also, shows that are back, Castle....kind of still liked it but really not liking the new characters terribly much, so we'll see how long that lasts.
Haven, it's going in a weird direction, thought it was nicely wrapped up in the last series, but it's still got some watch value and keeps you interested.
