I love NCIS and NCIS LA. Mostly because of Mark Harmon and LL Cool J granted but even so.

White Collar was back on last night, had no idea it was starting up again but luckily the series record picked it up so that was a welcome surprise when I sat down to watch some TV at 10.30 last night
Still really like the show, it's a little cheesy but good chemistry between the characters and it just works somehow.

Most of the new shows look cringe worthingly bad though.

Well, watched 20 minutes of "Franklin and Bash", stopped and deleted it from the DVR. What a load of bollocks.

I totally love NCIS and have watched it from the beginning. I think the casting is excellent and love all the nuances of the characters. IMHO it is the best show around and I hope it continues to be. Unfortunately, I just could not get on with NCIS LA.

ACtually even tho I gave it 3/10 I'd watch it again for the cheesiness of it. At least it isn't the God awful Fringe or Bones.

Bones for me has not translated onto TV very well at all. The Kathy Reichs books on which it is based are very good but the programme is just not right.

Imo the books bear no relation to the show. Kathy Reichs may have been involved but the characters and behaviours are completely different. Shame really, the books are brilliant.

Ha - I turned it on (a touch late - I'm sure it won't matter) and the foreign woman (complete with all the magic genius of ALL white foreign people on TV shows) said something about finding a blood trail from a victim. The camera panned two feet from the massive battalion of people examining a body and voila! - a huge fat blood smudge on the ground wider than my driveway. She must be some kind of magical genius to have spotted that.
By the way I love how they made her Israeli even though she's from Chile. It doesn't matter at all that she sounds or looks Israeli - just clearly being foreign is enough to make her mystical and different.

Of course she is Israeli, she is former Mossad. Stop analysing and just watch - typical bloke -

I remember years ago there was a some English bloke with a very think East London accent on Days Of Our Lives or some such pap (my MIL watches). He revealed to another character on the show that he was from Newcastle - hence the accent.

This is to help you watch NCIS without thinking about it.
