Caught up with Eureka. Same old. It's a light, fun programme but it's wearing a bit thin.
Alphas - Some of the most annoying characters in a long time, especially the two male characters. Only redeeming feature was the soundtrack. Can't go wrong with Bowie and T-Rex.

Breaking Bad....the 4th series, anyone catch it?

Got it lined up for later viewing.

Alphas is a bit too out-there and would have been better if they had gone either X-Men style or a more realistic approach (i.e. nobody who can see and interpret digital encypted data in the extreme EM spectrum). A bit weak in the way of characters, might get better.

I noticed than Inbetweeners was available to me On Demand so I checked it out. Oddly accurate depiction of my secondary school, much more realistic than Grange Hill ever was.

I gave up after the second episode, which says something as I love watching crap tele.

The characters in this were so shit and annoying that I wanted to eat the rotting, gangrenous foot of a shoeless tramp to give me the will to live enough so that I could ignore how shit the story lines were on top of the characters.

Thundercats....didn't really like the pilot, but it's some what growing on me a few episodes in...bit daft and seems a bit more polished than it used to be, but oh well.

Can't say there are many new shows I've taken too though, well most I haven't as they've either sounded shit, looked shit or were made by people who have made shit shows in the past.

Sticking with Breaking Bad....because after taking a while to getting around to watching it, loved it and thought it was great, but this 5th series is leaving me a bit cold and it doesn't seem to be as gripping. Still, not much else on.

Is anyone watching Wilfred? I didn't like it on first viewing, but the kids kept watching it, now I'm finding it hilarious

Death Valley

It's a short and daft mockumentary, following a bunch of cops dealing with a zombie/werewolf/vampire infestation.

It's a little slow in places, very cheesy, but once it kicks off, quite funny, goring and really a fun bit of stupidity

Am once again braving an episode of NCIS: Los Angeles. I have just noticed that the allegedly secret ninja-boss has a mouth like an ant eaters anus.

Yes! Kind of like South Park in that goes about a deep concept in the most ridiculous way possible. Also Elijah Wood in his least annoying role that I can think of, actually playing someone likable for once.


Sons Of Anarchy, True Blood and Friday Night Dinner are my other main watches. Been needing to catch up on all the Weeds I've missed (since season 3) and Breaking Bad (since season 1).

I was gonna "unsubscribe" from this thread as we just got rid of cable, but then figured I will find out from your posts what to look up on Netflix/Hulu etc!

Pretty much, because we don't watch very much live on cable these days and I don't bother with the adverts all that much so don't see what's worth watching...and apart from Suits, not really liked all that much in the new stuff...

Biggest Loser starts again in a couple of weeks....yay
