I guess we have seen the last of the 'bearable' weather, it was really nice here on Fri. Sat, Sun....now back to the sticky humid hot stuff!

When we left the house at 715 am it was lovely-67 and no humidity THEN came the sun in full force and the temperature jumped up 10 degrees in an hour. Sigh.

We have been breaking record low temps here in San Diego, averaging 8-10 degrees below normal and it even misted/rained a little this morning.
It was a high of around 67-68 today.

I've been up since 3.30am due to the bloody noisy air conditioner and now I'm sat out back on the deck with my glasses steamed up. Do I have to go to work today or can I just die now?

We've had our fans going all night (finally got a bit of heat here in the PNW) and I think that's what kept me up all night. Never was a problem in California, I had the fans on all the time, so I was used to the noise. But now....

Between the firehouse siren and the fan rotating like a Messerschmidt propeller I am convinced I have been transported in a time machine back to the blitz. Or perhaps I am just suffering from a touch of sunstroke?
