Sharp lad, his Dad, eh? Bit of a stretch to claim his son as one of your own though....I mean, in the recent referendum, that wouldn't even have entitled him to a vote

Tell us again, what does HK have to do with Scottish independence?

Only if he was residing at his dads village in Scotland and even then if he was away with the RN discovering new lands and fighting off the natives he would have got the postal vote being in the military.

So, tell us again why you're keen to claim him as a Scot?

Ironic really considering his father escaped Scotland in search of a better life during the Jacobite rebellion.

Oh lord, it's the ghost of school trips past.

Not wanting her to miss out, last trip back, I took my youngest to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Cook_Birthplace_Museum...

and then on to here

and then on to ice cream at the shop a couple of doors along, followed by feeding the ducks on the beck. It was a bit of a memory trip for me, a couple of days after Mams funeral, because she loved all that stuff, especially with the kids.

Aw, Roseberry Topping

Now we're so far off topic, I'm off to board a plane back to Blighty! Back in 3 weeks with the kids this time too

Interesting that "The Scotsman" uses the doubts about 9/11 to dismiss the Indyref "truthers". The writer forgot to mention Iraq's WMDs, the JFK assassination, and the Battleship "Maine". Me, I'll wait until a little more time passes before aligning myself with the official explanation of the referendum. Or indeed the official explanations of those other incidents.

Rats should leave a sinking ship. Britain is finished; it no longer has an empire, and the Canadians no longer buy British cars. In fact, there is no longer a British car industry, so Scotland should dump the UK and go out on their own, like East Timor, Slovakia, Nagorno Karabakh etc.
