Pet Peeves?

Anyway...peeve, cars with one headlight being much brighter than the other.
I have joined those ranks though, as a bulb blew out on the way up to Maine and could only get a super duper arsehole bulb for it.
Fog and people not switching their fog lights off after clearing the fog.
Frost heave...jesus, some of those roads were shit.

The stupidity of our town highway department.
We live on a nice quiet dead end road, it was a main road till 1935 when it was rerouted the other side of the railroad tracks. Our half-mile dead end road used to be paved by the town, but about ten years ago they decided to let the surface go and treat it like a dirt road. So about ten days ago, they came along with tons of crusher run which they dumped on the road and spent some time grading. It looked good for a few days. Then it snowed. So along comes the snowplow, and promptly redistributes ALL the crusher run from the road to my front lawn. So now the road is bare concrete again with some pretty bad potholes.. just like it was before all the work they did a few days before. And the first ten feet or so of my lawn is under a couple of inches of crusher run. This happens every year.

Kids toys that have the battery compartment screwed in....seriously, under 3 year olds aren't getting it open. It's a pain in the arse, save yourself a couple of pennies and stop doing it. Cocks.
Toys that require odd number of batteries....arseholes.
Toys requiring stupid batteries such as C or D cell ones...what was the point of that? Knobs.
Any product requiring a Y-Tri wing screws....seriously, what arsehole that was a good idea to use? Impossible to find a driver for them and they're pointless.
Wii dvd drive going on the wonk because of fatigue in the metal guiding plate, I can see it, I can bend you back into shape....but I don't have the sodding driver above to crack open the front of the case....grrrrr.
Evernote and how it can sometimes take ages to pop up from the task bar.
Just how bright and ugly are those LED christmas lights? We've got loads of them as I like them not getting hot and breaking every five minutes, but my word they're bright and ugly.
How a Christmas tree can cost x4 as much down here as it does up in Maine...if we had the space and room in the car, there were 6-8 foot tree's for $20 up there....that wouldn't even get you a 4 foot stump if you were lucky down here.
How all the kids events seem to be happening on the same day and time as each other...arse...holes.
Products that are nearly empty, but still enough that you don't want to chuck them...but then left with a bulky container wasting space...I'm not re-bottling bog cleaner to fix that issue.

People who don't know how to use the multi-quote feature, so fill up a whole page with umpteen consecutive posts.

I suspect drivers turn them on when needed and then forget to turn them off wen not. Sort of like when they turn on their high beams and forget to turn them off, even when you "remind" them by flashing yours!

Energy saving light bulbs that are really white and clinical and change the colours of a room. They have no warm glow.

Energy saving light bulbs that leave you in semi-darkness for 15 seconds when you turn them on ...

Oh, yes they do! We passed 2 cars on the interstate the other day, each of whom had their fog lights on, even though it was cloudy but clear. That one fog light on the back nearly blinds the driver behind and fog lights on an oncoming car can be confusing at night.
