Pet Peeves?

No, they are actual apples. I like apples, they're like food and a drink all in one and they're fruit, so I can eat as many as I like and they don't count because they're 'good for me'.
That never was a concern of mine

Not sure if this is a pet peeve or just a Phoenix problem.
That point when you realize your thermometer goes to 111F (because that's one hotter) and that your night time lows are higher than most places day time highs.

Still, at least it's a dry heat. At least that what Arizonan residents tell us down here when on vacation. Not sure it makes much of a difference, it's damn hot.

It was about 63F on Friday for our game, and even then the rain earlier in the day seeded the air with enough moisture to make even that uncomfortable.

Reminds me when my father in law questioned the choice of a dark colored car. I told him it makes no difference, above a certain point it's hot whether the car is white or not.

Don't lecture me about humidity. Practically swam out of my front door this morning.

Oh aye, preaching to the choir etc. Still, a football game in 63 degree weather should have been a pleasant experience, not the sticky sweat-fest it became. Then again, we had no subs and I was playing right back against the team with probably the strongest, or at least the most competitive (for a non competitive league) attack out of all of us.
