The sing song Valley girl accent has spread to the East Coast prevalent among the 20 some things and makes me want to move up from shin kicking to head cuffing.

Got stuck behind one of those obnoxious "blowing coal" (or something similar) trucks. Two giant stove pipes that pump out plumes of black smoke whenever they put their foot down. Of course, anyone who intentionally makes their vehicle get only 2mpg in order to pollute more is also a horrific driver so the only thing worse than my white car being turned grey would be having that idiot riding my rear bumper.

RV's that are towing massive SUV's...when those SUV's are blocking the RV lights and don't have theirs hooked up...that's got to be illegal? Either way, seen a lot of that recently and it's not much fun driving down the interstate when it's pitch black out.

Speaking of driving in the dark....cars with orange head/driving lights...for some reason, they don't set the auto tint in the rear mirror, so they're rather blinding.

Pine cones on the pavement, for which there is a massive amount of right now...because they inevitably get stuck in the wheels of the pushchair and that's rather annoying.

My rear view mirror will automatically tint in the dark (goes kind of a greenish colour), to reduce the glare of headlights and that. It seems to replace flipping that little lever to change the angle, which I did in my old car.

I presume this is what Bob is talking about.

My Honda Civic is about 7 years old. Don't think it's got that.

(Getting Mrs Hotscot a new Mini Countryman for Christmas to replace the 16 year old Honda Civic. I'll check if it has that.)

Aye, but it auto tints when there's a bright light behind you, not when it's dark out....but it doesn't tint for orange lights.

Get a steamer...and it's much quicker to steam than iron.

It'll be entertaining and you get out of doing the ironing. Win win ...
