I got my eldest sons done at either a Walgreens or a CVS (always get them muddled up ) and they had a little chart that showed how to take it...angle of face etc.

For a UK PP? I can imagine they would have something like that for US PP photos...but not for other countries.

I think it's the size of the head within the frame. There are specifications for each country.

There is less tolerance for variation in head size for UK PP photos: UK head to chin must be 29-34mm, the US accepts 25-35mm. Otherwise the only difference is the size of the overall picture, with the UK being rectangular 45x35mm, compared to the US, which is 2" (51mm) square.

Unnecessary UI changes on product updates. I've got something where the delete button has moved a few spots over and a "move to folder" button put in its place.

So I've been not deleting loads of shit by accident.

FFS.

Our old, old Saab 9000 CS, mechanic showed a little hack in removing a ball bearing or putting one in, can't remember, on a spring in the turbo that was the only difference between the CS and the CSE, which meant it went from being a soft turbo that was passive to the hard, pre-spooled turbo and suddenly went like extra shit off a shovel....which was neat

You know those people who sit at 39 mph (once we get onto 40+ roads, obviously) no matter what the speed limit is. Even though there are about seven million signs that say 55, they just sit there, pottering along like an utter twunt. Well, them.

Also, people using the phrase "I was like ..." to start sentences. Blegh.

My favourite local speed-related irritation is those who stick absolutely to 50mph on the 50mph limit road into town, ...... then take off like a scalded cat when they reach the city limit where the speed limit drops to 45mph.

That used to happen to me a lot back home. There is a section of the A2 just outside Carrick where it drops from 60 to 30. You'd be stuck behind some Sunday driver type for six miles on the 60 section at 40, then as soon as the limit drops, they're off.

I can't make head nor tail of that

Like everybody in Oregon...a precise 5 mph below the speed limit.
(And every third car is a Prius.)

That would drive me round the bend. I'm not even asking for much, just at least the speed limit would be nice.

The absolute worst are the '37 in a 55' brigade though. They need to be put in the stocks and pelted with rancid tomatoes.
