That or the distinctive cars look so distinctive that they end up looking, well, shite.

Some new things are acceptable of course in moderation, but in general (and always in written and spoken English) - shite. I stand by that

How no is is ever able to grate cheese straight. Always end up finding the block of cheese at a dodgy angle.

How no one in my area is clearing the massive buckets of leaves off their pavements, so you end up finding a massive pot hole as a fun surprise, or the pavement is like a ice rink after a splash of rain.

I'm agreeing with you

The only good things since the Seventies are Radiohead and improvements in race relations.

It's impossible to grate cheese straight. Even if you think you are, by the time you are done you've got some weird modern art sculpture left over where once there was cheese.

Well, there a few more things. In general I am in favour of technological changes, of course - the more of that the better.

Squaring off the end of the cheese (eating it) is one of my main culinary duties in the kitchen. That and food mixer thingy licking.

When you're squaring the cheese, how many times to you pretend to **** it up for extra bits to eat?

n.
Cheese grating is not easy. I made my wife grilled cheese yesterday and she found the supermarket label and barcode in it halfway through eating it

I suspect that Mrs N usually buys round or wedge shaped pieces of cheese!

Well, it's not an exact science. Sometimes adjustments have to be made.

That has made the whole idea somewhat less appealing.

Goes without saying.
