Re: Pet Peeves?
Bloody credit reports. Applied for a remortgage a few months ago, they pulled my credit report which came up as 786. Rate might get better I thought. Tried again a couple of weeks ago, now my credit rating is 750 due to "too many credit checks". I had a single check, and by the same company! No other checks in the last five years! This has pushed my favourable rating down to below the magical 760 that gets me the best rate. Arse.

People that use defiantly instead of definitely:
"A copy of the certificate most defiantly" and while I'm at it, those that type "viola!" when they mean "voila!". A stringed instrument or flower is not an interjection. |

Then there are people who seem to think "kudos" is the plural of "kudo"

But you can't blame "different than" on spell check, when they mean different from. :frown: |
