I patiently waited for a farmer to raise my turkey for Thanksgiving in 2004. It took about 7 months!

NEVER do that - its a mistake :scared:
They change $3 for a tiny little pot of sprouts here (I bought one yesterday and counted 14 sprouts in there). But the sprout curry I made last night made me remember that however much they cost, they are worth every cent!

Sprout omelete? Hmm... well it is breakfast time...

It's funny how all the best curry ingredients are the ones that actually add to the flatulence factor:

sprouts (IMO), cauliflower, chick peas

Does spinach make you fart too?

Now - Sprouts. They're the way forward!
You must be a lousy cook if your parsnips taste like soap. Parboiled and then roasted with the potatoes they should have a slightly firm texture and the sweetness of a baked sweet potato.

It doesn't matter how good the chef was. Nothing would persuade me to eat another Brussels Sprout.

But they're little cabbages. I LOVE sprouts, but the sprogs unfortunately do not so I tend not to make them that often. Alas.

Have you tried hiding them in a cheese sauce and au gratin?

The smell gets to them every time. They'll eat cauli au gratin but not sprouts, much to my dismay. I've fed them the veg since they were tiny, but can't force them to eat it now (they're all bigger than me )

I did eat sprouts once or twice a year, they were OK. I think I'll try Paula Deane's recipe, I don't think the sprouts will spoil all that bacon
