My son's a fan. Currently in Liverpool, he's trying to figure out how to get to Chipping Norton on the bus and get noticed. He loved Top Gear.

Tell him to just do what any Scouser in Liverpool would do. Steal a car.

Yes and believe me I dealt with many a stolen vehicle being driven along the A59 from Preston to Liverpool providing I wasn't looking for gangs of shoplifters at Preston Railway station. Other than that I have no other problems with Scousers

and now you are working for immigration/customs, bringing your tendency to implicit (or is it explicit) bias with you.

I believe that is the PC term in this new era or some might think some woke term being added. I still use the old reasonable grounds to believe or balance of probabilities when dealing with people.

Some examples from a group doing x leads to the assumption that ALL of the same group do x. Is that your professional opinion?

Depends on the situation and what context. We are told not to stereotype and I have done some of bias based programmes being taught. I always come back to the same question and example I give and ask the facilitators

The IRA have just restarted their campaign and begun their terrorist activities. Several of these wanted members are believed to be heading to Canada and there are warrants out for their arrest. So without using stereotype indicators or profile targeting who should I be on the lookout for?

I am still waiting for an answer from them.

What is your answer? Who do I look for?

You have taken a step back, you are no longer of the opinion that everyone from Ireland is a terrorist, which by inference was your position 15 or so minutes ago.
All a bit off topic, should go to IM I suppose

Post 143 was the 1st time I mentioned the IRA and your assumption of my position 15 minutes before that is obviously wrong as they hadn't been mentioned. I notice you didn't answer my question about who I should be looking for?

Unfortunately and I am guessing here is that you have never been a Law Enforcement officer so the lens you view the world from is different to mine. A small minority from any group always make it difficult for the majority from that group and especially when dealing with Law Enforcement. If you are aware of fraudulent letters of acceptance to Canadian Universities being presented by citizens of X country then YES citizens of that country producing letters of acceptance will be highly scrutinized by officials and a determination will be made if fraudulent or genuine after scrutiny. It is what it is regardless of your views and if you disagree with the methods of Law Enforcement Agencies and NO I have never stopped a vehicle for the driving while black offence.

Joe Exotic aka Tiger King news.

US 10th Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed his convictions, however they vacated the sentence, ruling that the district court "erred by not grouping the two murder-for-hire convictions at sentencing."

He will be resentenced at some point.
