Besides the fact that there are laws against that kind of thing (nice Chianti anyone?) all that hair would make you choke and be a bugger to get out of your teeth, just stick with flour and onions like the normal folks do.

You may well be right there.

It was a moderate success - to me, anyway; OH really appreciated it, and she can be brutally honest in these matters - but I think that I over-thought the sauce/gravy part.

Next time I'll keep it simple.

It took me a while to find where it had been hidden in the "improved" BE layout (at the bottom of my User Control Panel), but is anyone else checking for karma received?

Karma should be in the middle of your control panel, for me it's 'who quoted me' at the bottom.

Either way, I don't actively check mine as much as I sort of notice when a new one pops up. Kind of weird, but also makes me think I might spend too much time in my control panel that such changes are detected passively

Oooh! WQM. ...... Thank you, I hadn't scrolled down far enough to find that, I assumed it had gone, as part of the site "improvements."

I think it might even have come back before the rest of the layout changes were made. Been back a while either way.

Pulaski is losing his marbles, it was back long before he took his extremely long coffee break.

I thought "Karma" was about sending nice thoughts (or similar)? I don't usually see my profile as I only use the mobile version but I did look just now and saw that a couple of weeks ago I received karma that, while not actually nasty, was not nice either!

That's exactly what it's supposed to be used for (from the forum info 'for good forum postings'). Occasionally we do get somebody that sees it as a way to get around the site rules and tries to use it to send something not so pleasant, if you do receive something like that please just report it, thanks.

Frankly, I think it is cowardly to send someone a sarky/nasty karma message. If I have something like that to say to someone, I say it on the forums for all to see, or ignore the person/comments concerned.

Yes. Something a little out of kilter with people who do that.
