Exactly how we do it! Addicted.

We use the microwave, works great. The new oven has a popcorn function that seems to work quite well. We buy brown bags in bulk from Costco. It doesn't taste dry, but it may be an acquired taste. My kids love it and so do I.

Regular popcorn kernels in a paper bag in the microwave. Season to taste.

Exactly that. Do you staple the bag or just fold it?

Just fold it over a few times. The bag is really just there so they don't ping about the microwave. Not confident that sticking metal staples in there would be a good idea!

We have been using staples for about 15 years with no problems in the microwave. Just one , maybe two, to keep the folded bag closed.

Stove top popcorn is something I recently discovered, with a hearty helping of coarse sea salt on top, makes for a delicious and addictive snack!

It's a great snack when we're lounging around in front of the TV on a weekend.

On its own it is virtually tastless, but with your choice of savory, or sweet, toppings, what's not to like about it?

It doesn't self-refill the bowl.

I've tried it with pepper, also with Parmesan, but usually the request is for just salt.
